Advanced Real Estate Practices: Brokers First Licensed After July 1, 2002 must complete the 30-hour Advanced Real Estate Practices course prior to their first license renewal.

The Advanced Real Estate Practices course may be used to satisfy continuing education requirements, if approved by the licensees's principal broker.

This course is approved by the Real Estate Agency to meet the first renewal requirement of newly licensed individuals. It is a 30 hour course that covers advanced areas such as current events and licensing requirements. Included within the course are some of the new changes regarding the Landlord Tenant Act, agency representation, ethics in business, the economics of business, and increased penalties for misrepresentation and negligence of licensees.
